Nigeria's mixed martial artist Kamaru Usman was ruthless during his UFC 261 welterweight title at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, April 25.
The 33-year-old needed just two rounds to dispatch Jorge Masvidal in their welterweight and maintain his unbeaten status in the sport.
However, the Auchi-born fighter became emotional after the match knowing that his father watched him in action for the first time in 10 years.

Reports claim that Muhammed Usman, his dad had been in jail all the time - the reason he was not present to witness his son dominate in a highly difficult and competitive sport.

Additional information reveals that Muhammed was arrested in 2009 on the charge of multiple false claims submitted by his ambulance company.
And in May 2010, he was found guilty of 14 federal charges and sentenced to 180-month prison time and restitution of $1.3 million.
However, having served 10 of the 15 years of his sentence, he was released by the authorities to be reunited with his family in February.
Meanwhile, after the match, Kamaru paid tribute to his old man by decorating him with his belt in front of everyone who came to watch the bout and he could not contain his joy in the process.

Kamaru has fought 20 times - 19 of which ended in victories while he has endured just one defeat all through his UFC career.
