Every election year means that some leaders will lose their seats, others will shift their elective positions, and new leaders will get into office.
This was no different in 2017 when many elected leaders were sent home either by voters as others were rendered jobless by elected leaders, like in the case of Parliament and county assembly speakers.
TUKO.co.ke spoke to several former county assembly speakers in the North Rift, most of who lost their seats to keep tabs on what they have been up to and their ambitions going forward.
