Former Niger Delta militants have warned President Goodluck Jonathan not to return to Ijaw land if does not declare his intention to contest the 2015 presidential election. In a resolution reached by the ex-militants after a meeting held in Benin City, the Edo State capital and signed by its chairman and speaker, Godstime Ogidigba and Peter Edah respectively, they said they angry over what they described as “provocative and unwarranted comments” by politicians to intimidate their kinsman and hinder him from contesting the 2015 presidential election.
